Our Curriculum

Horsford C of E VA Primary School was delighted to be awarded the CLPE ‘Associate Status’ for demonstrating a whole-school commitment to delivering our English curriculum through the CLPE ‘Power of Reading’ principles.

Using the CLPE core beliefs of every child being provided the chance to enjoy literature, and the importance of using texts that engage children and support developing literacy, we ensure that our children have access to fiction, non fiction and poetry opportunities to inspire them as life-long readers and writers.
